SELL FESTIVAL TICKETS AND MAKE MONEY
• the sooner you sell your tickets the more you make
• the more tickets are sold collectively the more you make
HOW IT WORKS
UNITY JAM is a lifestyle, activation & music festival crafted by communities for communities that will turn the whole of Muizenberg into a urban festival playground. The ethos of UNITY JAM is to create a lasting impact on the local economy. In this ethos UNITY JAM & PROTEA PAY teamed up and created a community-centric ticket sales system.
Anyone can sell UNITY JAM tickets and make as much as 80% or R240 per single ticket, with ticket prices at only R300. This is possible thanks to a new profit-sharing system we developed at PROTEA.
The princples underlying the system are simple.
• The sooner you sell tickets the higher your profit-share potential
• The more tickets are sold collectively, the more of your profit-share is activated
Festivals are highly profitable for organisers when lots of tickets are sold. These profits are usually not distributed to others involved, like ticket sellers. With PROTEA PAY this is different. As more festival tickets are sold, the organiser passes on profits transparently to those selling tickets. The most profit-shares go to those who sell early.
A total of 1500 profit-share tickets are up for grabs. These are divided into three phases of 500 tickets each. The first 500 tickets sold get the most profit-share potential.
SELLING IN PHASE 1: AN EXAMPLE
If you sell among the first 500 tickets, your immediate profit-share is 40% of R300 per ticket it increases to 50%, 60% and 80% as 500, 1000 and 1500 tickets are sold collectively.
BREAKDOWN OF PROFIT-SHARES FOR ALL THREE PHASES
HOW TO GET STARTED
Tickets are allocated in packs of 10. You can either get tickets allocated freely, in which case you will lock your profit-share potential in as soon as you sell all 10 tickets. Alternatively you can buy the tickets instantly, which also locks your profit-share potential for all tickets instantly.
